Ferrari have denied that the Madring circuit paid for their recent filming day, after it was reported the venue invited the team to run and would cover all expenses. If the circuit had indeed footed the bill, it could have caused a big controversy with other teams. The report notes Ferrari found a gray area in the regulations that does not stop them running a filming day on a new track, even though testing of previous cars on new circuits is not allowed.
